I paint cars and airplanes and use a D/A all day long. When u r sanding surfaces with curves, the flexible surface will follow the curves better than a flat surface. Instead of sanding thru to bare spots, the flexible surface follows the lines of the fender or door u r working on.

Hold up better than 3m and last a lot longer. All around a much more durable interface pad in my opinion

These last longer than cheaper generic pads. Great for sanding bowls, pens, and other lathe items.

I use these to sand bowls and other things on the lathe. The cheap set I ordered 1st kept coming apart after they got a little warm but these held strong. I'll be ordering more like this in the larger sizes
