This works perfectly to handle my 2HP dust collector. Only issue is the wires are a little short, but I was able to make it work.

Installed the product upon receipt and it did not work. Contacted Jacks@etoolcity.net and he sent a replacement. That did not work either. I tried, in vain, to work this problem and the emails I received back were in broken english and vague. I felt like I was being strung along until the time to return ran out. I returned both units today to Amazon. I would not recommend this product.

It is so nice to be able to turn the dust collection system on and off by the remote I keep in my front pocket. Keeps me from having to walk around all the machinery to get to the dust collector switch.

It well in my application. Since the remote is small, I have attached it to a big key ring so I can find it if I lay it down on my workbench.

I like the Ortis but in my opinion the remote switch is too small. It is not so easily attached to the shopapron for ease of operation and is easily dropped.

The unit came with a dead battery. I can't find the A27 size battery locally, so I had to order them. They arrived July 21. Once I put the new battery in, it worked fine until today. The battery in the remote is still good, but the unit will not turn on or off using the remote. It works manually, but not via remote, which was kinda the reason for purchase. Unfortunately, the return window closed 6 days ago. Buy something else.
