I bought this battery as the one in my laptop had been basically dead. I would only get 19 mins on a charge with the old battery. I looked at some of the reviews and decided to order this one. After swapping out the old battery with this one. If I turn on all of the power saving options, I get over 8 hours!! I have had to issues with the battery so far. Swapping the battery out was easy and it comes with the tools to do it. I didn't use the tools as I used my Ifixit kit (which I highly recommend). I would recommend this to anyone that needs a battery for their Dell xps!!

Update September 21, 2024 - Battery is working well and holding a charge for about three hours on energy save mode, and about one and a half hours on the charge in full power mode. Very happy I replaced the battery and not the whole laptop.August 7, 2024: It was fairly easy to install this in my Dell XPS 9370 laptop to extend the life of my computer. Two screws stripped and I had a heck of a time removing them to get the laptop open. Once I was in, it was really easy to unplug and unscrew the old battery, and install the new one. Battery life so far is great. The instructions say to discharge the new battery to 5% (easy) and recharge to 95% (so hard!) three times to set the battery up - I never could catch it until it was at 100%, so I am not sure how many months or years the battery health with remain optimal. For now, it’s better than the old one which could no longer hold a charge for more than 5-6 minutes.

The battery fits well the laptop and it is recognized by Windows.The tools were very useful to perform the installation with noo problems.So far, after a few days, the battery capacity is as expected.I cannot tell about the durability of the battery.

Really happy with the battery itself, and installation is fairly easy and straightforward once you get the back cover off. I do however feel it is worth noting that if you have a Dell 9370 (or similar Dell laptop) you will probably need to invest in a TX-5 screwdriver separate from the one that comes with the battery (the red one). The one provided stripped several screws and itself within 4 or 5 of the screws being undone. I was thankfully able to get them all out with the separately purchased screwdriver, but felt this was worth noting. Overall, still much cheaper than paying Dell to replace it - would recommend.

This battery fit a 13" Dell XPS 9370 fine and reports a 7 hour life after charging up and a near full drain to calibrate. I'm pleased with the purchase, though it was tricky to install correctly.The thing that went wrong with the installation is that Dell has designed their battery connector with pins that are easily bent, which I managed to do and had to bend back with an exacto. That was a pain and you should avoid this mistake.In my opinion it would be better to remove the 5 screws first, before detaching the battery connector by gently pulling it straight back. The battery cable is short and stiff, and if you pull it out before removing the screws you are likely to bend the pins as you wiggle it free. Note that this is the reverse of the order of operations in the Dell manual.Before screwing the new battery into place, carefully connect the battery cable to the male connector on the motherboard. Make sure all 12 pins slide smoothly into the holes on the female connector from the battery. Because the battery cable to the connector is short and stiff it is very easy to misalign if you try to reattach it after screwing the battery into place, and that can also result in a bent pin.After connecting, secure the battery in place with the screws. Note that (strangely) the Dell manual does not specify any order for reattaching the battery connector vs screwing the battery into place.

I bought this Feb.1, It worked as well, baterry hours, easy install and fast delivery. But just pass 1 month, it didn’t charging. I contacted to amazon, they said can’t return and replace because it is over 1 month. But product description says 60days return and refund, manufactory warrenty is 1 year. I found manufacture contact, but hard to find it. An also I read reviews, one of review said the manufacture refused replace and refund. I need my laptop right away, I had to buy another brand replace baterry. —>I left this review, next day I got refund.

I installed the battery, turned on PC and ran diagnostics. The battery was immediately recognized and works perfectly. No issues.

Dell XPS 13 9380 Laptop. Called two computer repair shops to get quotes on battery replacement, first one said $160 + battery cost and my laptop HAD to have the Dell OEM battery or it would not charge, second place said approx $350 battery included! So, I purchased this battery, it arrived sealed, inside was a plastic tray molded to the battery shape and foam protection on top, screwdrivers were included which I did not need as I had my own quality tools. Took about 15 minutes to replace the battery and other reviewers are correct, remove all 5 screws holding the battery, pull the battery about 1/4" or so forward to get room to wiggle the connector out and reverse the procedure to install the new battery. I calibrated the battery by fully charging it (it arrived with 60% charge) to $100% and then started streaming movies which it ran for over 10 hours before finally dying! This morning I charged it back to 100% and have used it all day checking and replying to emails, surfing the internet etc and this evening it is still at 75%!!! I just hope it lasts a long time as I am very happy at present with it.

This does NOT come with the correct screws for a Dell XPS 9370. You need a M2x2 and M1.6x4 to unscrew the battery, but it only comes with the correct torx screw for the backplate/bottom of the laptop and M1.6.4. When I try to use both screws provided where its labelled M2x2 they just spin and spin. Hoping to get the correct screw shipped to me or compensation
