Got this to pick up leaves! lol! Works great! Like to keep the lawn looking good and we get a few leaves here and there and this allows my husband to get them up with little effort!

This is my third purchase of this frog gig .. one for myself, one for my wife and one as a gift for my grown stepson! The gigs have held up extremely well and I am pleased with the purchase!

I bought this gig for my son to gig bullfrogs. When I received it, I was a bit surprised by how small it was. It also felt like the metal was pretty flimsy. I bought a broom handle and attempted to use the bolt fastener and nut that came in the package. That didn’t work at all because the end of the gig didn’t really fit all the way into the end of the broom handle, so there was a lot of play even though the nut was up against the end of the gig. Instead of using that bolt, I drilled a hole through the broom handle and used a wood screw to secure the gig to the broom handle. That worked well and the gig was securely fastened.When we went to use the gig, the middle prong broke off on the very FIRST time my son used it! Seeing as this is all that we had, we attempted to use to use the gig with only 2 prongs. That didn’t work either. Almost right after the first prong broke off, the other 2 prongs bent badly (see the picture I took). At this point, I knew this thing was complete junk. Do yourself a favor and find something better built. I am going to contact Amazon for a refund.
