These pens are cool, I have already used them to decorate a bag for Valentine's Day. You push down to get the paint to saturate the tip, HOWEVER, the paint comes out really fast and goes everywhere. It takes a few minutes for it to dry and obviously can ruin your design if not careful. I found that if you barely tap, it seems to saturate the tip without spilling all over but it's a fine line that is difficult to get just right. These mostly dry silver, but there is color around the outside of your drawing. It's hard to see the color on the brown paper I decorated, but the silver is still shiny and pretty. These are cool, but as I said are hard to moderate the paint flow. If doing something like Easter eggs, I would recommend a piece of cardboard or something you could use to get the tip saturated while dealing with the paint flowing out, then you can use them on the eggs.

I had seen markers like this on TikTok-Tok and was very skeptical that they would actually work like the videos show, so I never bit the bullet and ordered any. But I thought I’d take a chance on these because my 11-year-old daughter is currently plagued by winter boredom and constantly needs new things to do.I was amazed that these actually do exactly what they say they do! I don’t understand the science, but when you make a line with these, in any direction, holding the marker in any way, you get an outline. It looks way cool and really excited my bored child. She loves writing her name in different ways to see how the outlines will come out. The colors are vibrant and the metallics are shiny. They write smoothly and dry quickly. These would be great for scrapbooking or making cards. We’re really impressed with these strange, cool markers.

Followed the instructions on the box and they were still very messy when they first touched the paper, it was bit of a surprise that the ink/paint went everywhere.Even on Canson mixed media paper there was quite a bit of bleed through on the color (not the silver). Definitely needs a heavy weight paper in order to avoid bleed through.Even trying to be super careful with my pen strokes, there was still some splatter and bleeding. BUT they are super fun and pretty (and nostalgic from the 80's) which is why I gave them 3 stars not 2.

A rainbow of outline pen paint colors.I did not realize the were paint outliner pens until I received them. I pulled one out of the package and figured out I had to shake it to get the "ink" flowing. The "ink" is in fact beautiful, shiny, paint. I used it to outline some basic quick designs done with pigments belfore outlining with the paint pens. These will be wonderful for my middle teenage granddaughter who loves to paint and do crafts. She can do other art things than just outlining I am sure. She creates beautiful masks and these pens could be used to create beautiful makeup around the eyes and the faces on the masks as they are shiny paint pens rather flat color pens.they are so beautiful! I cannot wait until Sunday when she will see them. They are so amazing that they are well worth full value.

These pens work well on hard surfaces like rocks. The coloring doesn't come through as well on paper. The silver shows but the bright colors soak through to other side but look great on the back. These would be fun on poster board and outline other fun signs.
