This was PERFECT for what I used it for that had nothing to do with Edelbrock or a carb. I welded this to a homemade powerpipe for a ProCharger install on my 03 Mach 1. This was to route my PCV system and it was the ONLY thing I could find for the size hose I was using.

Correct Part!Four stars for inaccurate description and wrong picture.I searched all over for this even at several auto parts stores. Everyone including Amazon had the wrong picture and description, one of a brass fitting. Amazon may have updated this since my purcahse???***This fitting is STEEL with a gold irridated coating and has a nipple for press on rubber hose. It is not brass!I took the plunge because of the Edelbrock part number 1497. This is the correct replacement part. This is also part number 22, Fuel inlet fitting, in the Edelbrock carburetor owner's manual parts diagram.
