These hydraulic lifter camshafts are dyno-matched to Edelbrock's Performer line of intake manifolds to provide increased horsepower and optimum torque from the low-end to the mid-range. The intake valve lift with factory rocker arm ratio is 0. 448 and exhaust valve lift is 0. 510. Headers, high energy ignition systems, lower than stock rear end gearing and a high performance torque converter in automatic transmission equipped vehicles are necessary to gain all of the performance in these camshaft kits.

I hate to do this bad review, but I need to share for those who are questioning what to buy. Amazon / seller / shipping not issue here. All of those have been great. The problem is the Edelbrock product. I read a couple of bad reviews somewhere about this Performer RPM cam and lifters set, but I purchased anyway. Everything has at least 1 bad review so it makes purchases tough. Anyway, it's Edelbrock! What could go wrong?! I'll tell you! Same as another review I read. First, I was disappointed. I didn't feel or hear the advertised 420 or so horsepower of my rebuilt 355 with Edelbrock E-210 heads and Performer RPM intake manifold. Second, after properly breaking in the cam / engine with cam lube and break in oil, the cam rounded out 2 lobes and about 4 lifters were damaged. 1 lifter actually came apart. The retaining clip that holds the lifter together came off and no longer held the lifter together. In my experience, these lifters appear to be cheap crap. I can only say from my experience. I contacted Amazon about this issue and they sent me a return label. We'll see how that goes. Now, I've purchased a Mutha Thumpr Comp Cam and lifter set. The feel and sound is a world of difference. Much better cam. Lifters have a strong snap ring type of retainer rather than the cheap metal push clip of the edelbrock. Anyway, I hope this is helpful to someone. Thank you
