The look and feel is really nice and the thickness and general quality are great. The adhesive heats easily and evenly with a heat gun and is somewhat amenable to an immediate second heating if you make a slight mistake. There is a little excess of adhesive that may peek out of the edges here and there, so having a wet rag to wipe the little blobs was useful rather than using my finger on hot glue like I did with the first piece I used. I'd rather there be a little too much adhesive than too little coverage, and it's not excessive, so it seems just right. I used it for a plywood shelf in a kitchen cabinet and it has held up pretty well to minor impacts. Yet it was soft enough to shape the corner edges easily with an exacto knife.

This worked great for prefinished plywood. Just take an iron and hold it on for about 15-30 seconds and slowly scoot the iron down the edge pressing as you go. I liked to go back and forth several times to make sure it was stuck fast well. You'll need to take a utility knife and trim off the little bit extra in with (this is normal for all edge banding). Sure dresses it up. I will be getting this again.

only 49 ft and amazon barcode label puts glue cannot be remove on prefinish. causing at end and 14" in so if no use small pcs u loose. it is $1 foot . but im cnc woodworking machinery tech including edge banding and this is very good indestrial quality

Just needed two feet, but have the roll for future projects. Matches birch shelf top and bottom nicely. Cut Easily. Glued on easily with hot iron (with a thin white cloth between iron and edging). Nice finish. Did not need to trim edges as it fit shelf depth perfectly.

Had a bad experience in the past with a similar product but for particle board shelves so I had low expectations. This product was very good. Oiled well, bonded as advertised, and really blended well after sanding and oiling. Even a couple of shelves that I had edged with poplar I ended up banding to match the finish of the other shelves.

As long as I take my time using the iron to be sure the glue as adhered it works well. I had to learn to not rush the process. And then check carefully before trimming.

The top edge of the 7ply drawer sides have a similar type product already on them. I had to cut some of the drawers to different heights and this product was easy to apply with an iron. ;;you can't tell the difference between the factory installed edge and edge that I applied to the cut edges.
