Easy to install plywood edge banding
The only tool you need to apply this veneer edging is a regular household iron at cotton temperature. A hot air blower or edge banding machine can also be used if you have these to hand, but a regular iron will be sufficient for a great application. To apply, simply position the veneer edging on the edge of your plywood or other substrate and smooth it with a few passes of an iron or slide it through an edge-banding machine. Suitable for straight-line edges as well as contours. Bandings are impregnated with a high-speed hot-melt glue that creates a permanent, durable bond.

Great product and easy to use once you know what you're doing. The glue melts quickly under a hot iron and cools fast. Easy to sand smooth and get a flawless edge.If applied properly it can easily look flawless and provide incredibly durability to the edges of plywood. Aesthetics too obviously.Edgebanding with a hot iron takes practice and a few tips like back rolling are essential. Don't expect the banding to stay stuck just by running an iron over it. You have to get the banding in place, run the iron over the length slowly but without burning, then go back with a roller tool or I just use a 3/8" oak dowel and slide it over the banding to press it down to lock in the glue.

I like this banding, it's nice and thick, the adhesive is good and overall it's easy to work with. There is one issue you folks may want to be aware of, I'm not sure how long it really is but I hope they added about half a foot in order to be able put their advertising label and shipping tape on because for the first several inches the adhesive residue from those sticky labels and tape makes that part unusable. If they didn't consider this and don't add what they destroy, you will not get exactly what you paid for. IMO, if you pay for 30 ft of something you must receive the full length. Period. Adding an advertising g label is fine, just replace what you destroy with that label.

I bought this to cover the floor of a 1/12 scale dollhouse, so it would look like 9" wide plank flooring. Worked perfectly. I put just a little Super 77 adhesive on floor to keep strips in position, covered it with parchment paper and then ironed it (on cotton/high setting) The adhesive on the back of the veneer sticks really well and wasn't affected by the other adhesive I used to hold the strips in place. The remainder will be perfect for repairs on a couple antique chairs.

This is great stuff for banding walnut veneered plywood, or any plywood. Better than those other brands in my opinion. I use quite a bit of the walnut banding and Edge supply is better

The color was not the same as shown in the pictures, and I expected better quality, even though I was aware I was buying from Amazon. Since I won’t be using it, I feel it's not worth the hassle of returning it.We need better quality products on Amazon, which is very discouraging.

Excellent product- First time I’ve ever tried to refinish my kitchen cabinets. The ones next to the dishwasher, the edges of the cupboards needed to be refinished. I scalped off the old chipped veneer and after a light sanding, measured-off new strips of the new walnut veneer. Using a clothes iron, set to linens, I smoothed over the veneer until it was solidly affixed to the cabinet. I used a dark maple Minwax stain- one solid coat was enough to match the existing espresso walnut cupboard-The whole process took under an hour and the cupboards look brand new!

Really nice veneer. Perfect for 3/4 in walnut plywood. Would buy again for sure on another project.
