These are fun to try them out. You can surprise your friends or family with something most people have not tried. For when you see those fancy plates of food with gold that are extremely expensive. You and your family will not be tempted to buy something based on it having gold. This is much cheaper and reasonable to do.It's not the same as me explaining it as you actually trying these out.But in my own words they do not have a taste. I would describe it as eating a thin aluminum golden sheet. It doesn't desolve immediately in your mouth.It's somewhat interesting in my opinion. I haven't tried them with food yet. As I wanted to sink my senses into it's texture and feeling the experience.

The gold sheets are really small but they work as intended. The gold sheets come sandwiched between 2 pieces of paper so that they are easily removed. It is super lightweight and fragile so you have to handle it carefully. I would recommend these gold sheets for use on cakes, pastries, and other desserts.

The quality of this goal leaf was amazing. The one I bought before this would crinkle up before I could even put on the cake. This was a little sturdier and easier to work with.

Tested to see if this was real 24k gold as advertised in listing, however upon exposure to a small butane torch flame, the gold foil *immediately* incinerated to carbon ash, revealing it is paper not metal. Real gold would withstand fire and first heat and melt. This thing instantly vaporized to black soot within less than a second of fire exposure. Would not eat! Who knows what this is! ?painted paper / toxic chemicals possibly.

Product behaves more like a piece of paper than actual gold. It's very hard to take tiny pieces of it to add to a buttercream cake. It just wants to stay in its little square sheet instead of stick to the buttercream and break off elegantly. Frustrating and time consuming to work with.
