Edward Tools Extra Large Industrial Aluminum DustPan 17” the best aluminum dustpan on the market. The lightweight sing piece aluminum weighs nearly half the weight of steel while providing equal strength. The rubber looped handle is more comfortable and allows the big metal dustpan to be hung up when not in use. This industrial dust pan’s edge is thin enough to sweep small items but thick enough to not bend. A ridge just inside the edge allows the swept items to stay inside while work.

First the pros - great tool for the shop, the yard, the driveway, multi use. I use it a lot in outdoor landscape cleanup with a mid sized lawn rake. Excellent sturdy two-pronged rubber grip handle. Plus, looks like the manufacturer got the message on not putting that impossible to remove sticker on the front. Mine didn't have one. The cons - the metal gauge is a little lighter than I expected. I had a contractors aluminum dust pan previously of similar size and it was a little heavier gauge. I still give it a 5 though.

Just got it. I'm impressed with the light weight. It seems well put together. It's nice to have a good wide pan.LABEL..So many have complained about the label that I HAD to try an remove it because, well, that's what I do.Started to slowly peel it and the clear plastic part of it came off the paper part. That wasn't intentional but it was fortuitous/beneficial.Next I sprayed it with Goo Gone Project Prep gel. After letting it soak in for a few minutes. I was able to scrape (fingernail) and peel it off in small bits. There was some Lightweight gum residue left.Next I put some isopropyl alcohol on that and went over it with a rough rag. It took a little bit of scrubbing with the rag and even a little more alcohol, but it got everything off. There's no label or residue left to catch dirt and crud when I use it now.

My favorite way to use these (and I now have four) is to use them as leaf scoopers. It's so easy to transfer a pile of leaves to a barrel or a bin with one scooper in each hand using them together to grab a huge 'handful'. If you're like me and compost your leaves, you want a quick way to pick them up and transfer them to whatever you're using to haul them to your bin. It doesn't matter if you shred them first (easily done with a lawnmower) or just use the leaves whole for leaf mold, using two dustpans as grabbers (tongs, forceps) does the job quickly. I started off with one dustpan years ago and liked it so much I got another one to make pair - then another pair for my grandson so we can make short work of the leaf job. They'll probably last forever.

It does everything you would expect, except the lip is not beveled. It doesn't get all the little dust, but that is what the shop vac is for...

This is my outside dustpan. I have had one for years but needed to replace after it was blown away with my bag of leaves and stick during a windstorm. It is great for picking up leaves, sticks and yard debris which is why I replaced it immediately after losing one.

I've been using a regular-sized dust plan for years. I finally upgraded to this larger size. I should have done this a long time ago. This dust pan is sturdy, light weight, and far better for garage and driveway sweeping in that it holds way more. And there were no stickers on the pan. I've read reviews about pans with stickers that are nearly impossible to remove. No problem with this one.

Hurricane Harvey somehow ate my old aluminum dust pan (along with most of the contents of my garage) so almost two years later I went looking for a replacement and found this one. I put this in my "basic" tool category, extremely useful for what it does. It is sturdy, light weight, and well balanced. Better than my old one. Highly recommended.

Pros:Reasonable size for workshop cleanup.Cons:Not as sturdy as other brands of aluminum dust pan.Expensive for what it is.Rockler has a better pan, although steel for $14.99 - I recommend that one instead.
