I like it being much wider than the standard dust pans. I use it outside and it is made sturdier enough that it seems it will last a long time. Much better than the plastic ones I have used in the past.

I was looking for a large dustpan to pick up debris from sweeping a deck under a large tree. I went ahead with this dustpan, as it looked sturdy, and had the large size I wanted. I was happy when I got it. The construction is solid, the finish is good, and the handle has a comfortable foam grip. The handle also seems like it will be fine over the years as the foam either hardens or falls off. I expect this dustpan will last years, and be fully-functional all the time. It's a dustpan, so there is a limit to how excited I can get, but really, this was all that I asked for and more.

I almost gave this a one star because of that stupid label. I read and followed the other reviewer's suggestion to heat up the dust pan and peel the label off. And yes, this works.However, I was still left with stubborn adhesive . I tried alcohol, magic eraser, dish soap, and elbow grease. I tried scraping it off and scratched the pan. (@!#*!@*)People, I finally found the answer: WD40 to the rescue! It came off in seconds.So, to future buyers:1. Heat the dust pan on low over the stove.2. Peel off the label3. Squirt with WD40 and remove with a paper towel4. Enjoy your Mack Daddy of dust bins. It's solid, heavy, and awesome.You're welcome.

Finally you can buy a product that is ruddy PLASTIC and is big enough to work in a garage cleanup. Worth the price several times over

Love this product. Nice and wide and very study. We use it to move around gravel or sweep our garage when we don't want to use our dinky plastic tray or bend over constantly. People weren't kidding about the tough sticker though. I used a hair dryer to soften the sticker before peeling it off and that did the trick!

I love the dustpan. I use it outside for picking up in the yard and also in my garage. It is sturdy and easy to use. I definitely recommend it. I hardly find quality made items anymore. This one is a keeper for sure.
