Perfect kit for reading/writing to EEPROM chips. Has a common usb to serial driver to access the devices. The 1.8V level translator board is super handy. Heck this kit is work it alone for all the adaptors. Its like a Swiss army knife for EEPROMS at a great price.

This programmer came with no documentation - not even a link to a random github repo. We're left to just google it, and what google tells us is that the black CH341A board is defective and cannot safely program 3.3 volt devices. Is this true? I don't know, because the drivers I found for it don't seem to work with this device and I can't even try it out. Since the vendor is expecting us to get all of our information elsewhere, we have to assume that the information we do find is correct and that this device is the defective version.I've been using EPROM programmers of one sort or another for a tad over 30 years - the concept is not new to me. I'm a working embedded systems developer. I have some similar low-cost programmers that actually came with documentation and drivers and work just fine. Save yourself some headaches and buy a programmer from a vendor that actually provides information with their product.

This is a very affordable eprom flasher that puts the flasher right on the usb connection. I grabbed a USB-A extension just to make this easier to use. The kit comes with all kinds of adapters including a 1.8v adapter with a zif socket. The kit comes in a zip lock bag and no documentation. Highly recommended!

This is a perfect kit for programming/tinkering with EEPROMI mostly dabble in the automotive world, but quite a lot of older vehicles use EEPROM so this has some applicability there. No complaints.

I ordered this set solely for the 1.8v voltage converter. That converter plus adapters are already worth the price. The programmer is standard and there is open source software available for it. There are two ways to communicate wit the programmer -- manufacturer's drivers (wonky on WIndows11), or through libusb (using zadig utility)The board is of good quality.
