looks good and stable. the only thing is the stabilizing cross piece was very tight so i had to use a dead blow hammer to knock it down so it sits flush with the neck at the base.

I got a large and didn’t pay attention to the sizing or reviews like normal, because I thought it looked cool enough for a wand. I was wrong, it’s great for a sword. I might get another because it’s super sturdy and easy to put together.

This stand is entirely about the function. It assembles easily with included/built-in hardware, and includes the upper cradle, the riser, and the base w/ detent. Nothing is padded (i.e., it is painted bare wood), and some of the hardware (e.g., screw heads) is exposed. But, the base is sturdy enough w/ no wabbling or the like, and the overall design is suitable for holding a katana or whatever. (I am using it to hold a short-handled naginata, and it works just fine.)So, overall, it works perfectly well, but the look is very utilitarian. Appropriate for locations where folks are not going to really notice or pay much attention to the stand. Good value.

I needed something to display this beautiful hatchet. Didn’t want to drill holes in my wall and couldn’t find anything other than leather straps. Ran across this sword display and figured I’d try it out. Perfect!

The product arrived as shown, buyers be aware that upper portion will only fit the blade of a knife or tanto without a saya. Luckily for me I purchased it to display a thin neck lightsaber hilt so it fit around the thin portion.

I bought three for some custom knives and look great. They are easy to assemble.

PROS~Easy to assemble~Functional~Seems sturdy enoughCONS~Looks like $#!+ up close~Made with some cheap composite (but whatever it is, at least it's strong)~Oval indent for the end of the saya (scabbard) is extremely rough and splintery. You'll want to sand it out or put some sort of padding in there.~Paint(?) job is very rough~Feet are attached with needle-thin nails. One of the feet fell off at some point before delivery. I straightened out the exposed nails and pushed it back into place.~Screws came rusty (although usable)~Overpriced for the overall lack of quality (probably worth closer to $7)The only reason I'm not giving one star and returning this thing is because it's sturdy, it works, and I really need it.If you want a stand that looks good, build one from scratch.

Purchased this small model to display a wakizashi and is barely adequate. The hole at the base that secures the tip of the sword in place is too small. It barely holds the tip in place. Also the notch at the top is too narrow and does not allow the sword to seat property. The two points where the sword rests are poorly designed and in my opinion not suitable to securely display a sword. Maybe I'll hot glue the tip in place. LOL
