They are nice containers but a little too small. Will only hold small eggs.

My wife tried these and they really protect the eggs, but I'm not sure that we need this much protection.

This has been happening from day 1, I should have returned it instead of thinking "maybe the eggs were upside down" "maybe that egg was especially tall" "maybe I pushed down with my finger right there"... No. It will continue to break your eggs because of the shape it has where the dome to accommodate the egg shape is actually reversed and digs into the eggs. Just get another product.*Update - seller refunded me for product.

We didn't buy this for eggs... we bought it as a way to play mancala, and we love it. It closes our pieces up securely, and it's durable. I'm sure it's great for eggs, too. :)
