These are great for poaching eggs. A little cooking spray and they're good to go. I was worried they would melt when I put them in the boiling water, but they're fine. Make poaching eggs easy.

Remember the old-fashoned egg poaching contraptions with pans, inserts, cups you had to butter...and somehow the eggs always stuck in the cups and were a pain in the derrière to clean? (Yes, I grew up in the '70s). Or remember the egg poaching method that involved placing the eggs in a pan full of vinegared water, which resulted in poached-egg soup and watery toast?Well, it's a new world, my friends. Take a pan, put in a little water to boil, put these little cups in, put the top on--no butter!--steam them 'til the eggs are done, and voila. The eggs slide out, and you don't have to scrub the silicon. Nice and easy!

We eat a lot of egg whites, so I got this to try microwave poaching them. It works great. And I can also use these to freeze liquid for long term storage. The egg whites stick to these are microwaving, and it takes a minute or two to get them clean. It's no worse than any other material, but they don't just slide off

Difficult to remove from boiling water, and the egg sometimes stick even with grease, they serve the purpose but I wouldn’t buy them in hand

The egg holders do not float, they either sink or flip, dumping egg into water.

I keep it by my air fryer so I can get different in different flavors in and they don’t transfer to each other

Poachers are wobbly, and require your fingers to be close to the boiling water when immersing the egg - or at least the way I do it. I’ve found that 1/3 and 1/4 cup plastic measuring cups from the dollar store work better. Save your money and pass on these items.

Works as intended and easy to use. I’m still trying to figure out between 30-45 seconds what cooks my eggs to a poach. It either comes out over cooked or under cooked but that’s simmering for me to figure out!
