This little lightweight plastic egg poacher quickly cooks eggs in the microwave; however it took 50 seconds rather than 35/40 seconds in my microwave and one egg cooked faster than the other by a few seconds. I followed the directions for use exactly and it did poach the eggs and they were easy to remove using the method prescribed. My only concern is the safety of the plastic material itself with continued use.

My husband is intolerant to eggs, but I love them poached, and the WLngtv Microwave Egg Poacher makes it convenient to cook two eggs for one person. It comes with instructions, which are a bit roughly translated but still understandable:1. Add a few drops of water into the container and place the egg liquid into the container separately. To prevent the eggs from breaking during heating, be sure to poke about 10 small holes in the yolk and egg white with toothpicks.2. Cover lid.3. Heating with high fire for 30-45 seconds or until the omelet is cooked.4. Use a toothpick to separate the edges of the omelette from the container and remove the omelette easily.I’m not entirely sure how you’d poke holes in the egg white, but I followed the instructions as best I could, and my eggs took about 50 seconds to cook. They came out cleanly and were nicely poached. The poacher also cleaned up well in the dishwasher.One thing I didn’t think to check before ordering was whether this poacher is BPA-free. I assume it must be since many US states have banned BPA in food-related plastics, but it would be reassuring if the manufacturer included this information in the product description.
