  • A: Stainless steel bowl scratches is a relatively common situation, generally does not affect the use. It is recommended to avoid contact with sharp objects in the process of use, and do not use too rough cleaning tools when cleaning.

  • A: You can steam eggs before the bowl coated with a thin layer of cooking oil, which can effectively prevent the egg custard sticky bowl, cleaning up is also more convenient.

  • A: The white spots are water alkali. Simply pour some water into the pot, add the right amount of white vinegar, bring the water to a boil, and then let it sit overnight, and the hydrastarch inside will come off automatically.

Love poached eggs and this is a cheap way to have them without alot of hassle. I wanted a stainless steal without the no stick coating. It does help to coat the bowls with butter! Eggs come out easier. Not a fan of nonstick or spray coatings from cans so light butter coating works great!

The first pan was dented, so I returned it for a replacement. Also, the tool shown in the picture for lifting the individual cups is not included, which is disappointing. I'll update my review when the second one arrives.Updated review, new pan was delivered. No dents.Still no tool for lifting individual cups, and the pan is lightweight, but it does work as advertised.I do enjoy the poached eggs. Also, I don't know why another reviewer suggested that GHEE didn't help, because I found a light coating inside the cups works good for me. The eggs fall right out.

Before selecting this egg poacher, I researched models with coated cups. Several reviews indicated that the coating could flake off, occasionally contaminating the eggs.I opted for this model with stainless steel egg cups to avoid potential issues related to coatings. However, I have found that eggs tend to stick to these cups regardless of the type of coating used. I have tried various alternatives, including GHEE, butter, organic beef tallow, and cooking sprays (which I generally avoid due to concerns about seed oils and propellants), but none have successfully prevented the eggs from sticking.EDIT: I was committed to finding a solution to prevent the eggs from sticking to the cups. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that applying a light coating of bacon grease allowed the eggs to release easily. This eliminated the need for scraping and scrubbing the cups afterwards.

I love poached eggs and I had an old non-stick egg poacher. Non-stick worries me and was literally peeling off. So glad I found this one. Quality product , made well. Great price for the quality of it.Beautiful eggs 😋 without the worry. Add butter first and had no problems with eggs sticking.

The cooking cups are too deep and narrow - not what I'm used to previously or when I have eggs in a restaurant. Quite odd really. The pot is of thin metal.
