For me as a widower, this makes cooking breakfast a bit easier. It’s like griddle management. Makes perfect round pancakes and eggs. Especially if your griddle is not setting perfectly level. No eggs or pancake batter running amuck. On my griddle it can make 3 pancakes at a time. An important notation “ when cooking pancakes fill rings only half way upâ€. Make sure to use something like Pam and spray rings as well. Let pancakes cook approximately 3 minutes before trying to remove the ring to flip pancake.

I feel so stupid! Without thinking about it, I figure someone who designed these large pancake rings would have tested it on a reasonably sized pan. I guess not! The most typical pan sizes are 8", 10" and 12". So guess what? You can only place 1 of these large 6" pancake molds in a 12" pan, because the cooking surface is smaller due to curvature. So what is the use of having 4 6" pancake molds, when only 1 of these fits my pan at a time? Duh.See what I mean from my photo - I'm using the largest ring on our stove with our 12" pan. So these rings are only useful if you have a LARGE GRIDDLE, like the ones in restaurant kitchens. Otherwise, you're better off doing it by hand if you have to make a lot of pancakes fast.I have no size complaint about the small 3.5" egg rings, except that these rings are not very non-stick. I have to typically clean the egg off them with a non-abrasive sponge - they don't just easily wash off.I'm sorry I bought this product - the designers should rethink these and make the pancake rings 4.5"-5" to be useful in most large frying pans (or idiots like me should think it through) and use better non-stick material.

How did I not have this thing sooner! Fantastic to keep your egg frying in check. Works well for fired eggs, omelettes and pancakes
