Let me start by saying I don’t own any Ego products.I purchased this strictly because of its power and misting abilities for a camping trip in south Florida over 100FHoly smokes am I happy I purchased this thing. Is it pricey. Yeah. Does it work very very well. YES.This thing was very well built and moves a ton of air.The misting functionality is a game changer. It has four nozzles and it pulls water from a bucket. I’ve seen some misting fans out there but some only work with a hose. This fan WILL NOT work with a hose. In case you are wondering. I personally prefer the bucket since it’s more portable and easier to move around. Plus if you use a 5 gallon bucket it will last for hours and more if you use the intermittent misting function.PRO TIP: I’ve seen a lot of complaints on this and other sites where folks complain of the fan leaking water in the front. Mine was leaking as well. Thought I had to return it but thankfully I tried tightening the misting nozzles. That was the issue and quickly resolved it.Button controls are easy to use and very user friendly.Everything about this fan is great.Another call out is this fan was designed for portability. It will only work with an ego battery that’s not provided.All in all for the price wish it included a battery and charger but even with this I would definitely buy it again and maybe other ego products as wellLast thing. Make sure you get a 5 - 7.5 AMP battery.5 minimum.

We use it by the pool when eating dinner but primarily at our events and farmers market. This machine is so cool, powerful and the battery lasts all day. Love the fact that it is on wheels and it is very light.

Another outstanding product! I’m simply delighted with the misting action. Confident it would run all day at mid speed on a 5 ah battery. Goes thru a 5 gallon bucket pulsing the mist in 4 hours or so. Makes sitting out on my deck in 95 degree heat barable. Evenings are delightful. Comes almost ready to go -,you screw on the handle and wheels, that’s it. Takes all the Ego batteries and has the typical large buttons and led indicator lights you’d expect. Comes with a spare nozzle. Be cautious if you have bad or hard water, it might clog it.

On a sunny 80 plus degree day, this thing is an absolute gem. We are an ego household and bought this for fun basically. We did not really need the fan, but figured it would be useful to have. Boy did it come in handy when moving crushed stone in the height of the summer heat. Adding the mist was the cherry on top. It gives you a nice easy breeze. The fan stays powered for a very long time and really moves the most stagnant air. The product is very light to carry, and easy to transport thanks to the wheels and built-in handle. It's a very nice touch. I love how it folds up in stores easily as well. You can have it in the house or outside. It's nice to those options. On the highest setting, the fan is not loud at all. You will hear the whirring, but it is not in the slightest bit obnoxious. This is and all around very well built product like many of their other products. Nice work Ego!

Worked like a charm to cool the Pee Wee Football team off on a hot Alabama day. The battery life is incredible only used one bar during a hour and a half game!! I put ice and water in a 2 1/2 gallon bucket and it worked great!!!!

I have been an advocate for EGO until recently. I thought I would convert all of my equipment to EGO but no longer the plan. Their stuff is great until you have a problem. After only one month, my misting fan completely stopped working. I went through all the available troubleshooting information but the fan motor will not turn on after being used 6 times. When the product ran it was wonderful. It was just outside Amazon's return window so I called EGO. I have to go through a scripted TS call with someone who has likely never seen the fan let alone know how to fix it. I even had to explain how the equipment is supposed to work several times as she was asking unrelated questions. Finally, after an hour, she sets up for me to have it serviced instead of replacing it. Fortunately, I thought to call the service shop they provided before loading the fan, battery and charger; because they said they don't work on EGO battery or electric products. I had to call EGO again and they wanted me to take it to a shop that is 70 miles away. That would require 4 trips and 6hrs of driving using my gas. I said not acceptable and said they need to replace the fan. That took her over 30min to get approved. She let me know that it is normally 10-14 business days but they are out of stock so they are guessing that it will take a month. I explained that I could get the fan from Amazon within two days, yet the manufacturer can't get it to me for a month. I live in GA and need this for the hot weather to keep people cool. She apologized but then reminded me that I did not want to take it to the service shop. EGO makes a nice product when it works but will be looking for alternatives in the future.

Maybe a little bigger than I thought, but it is everything I have come to expect from EGO. It has been running for a dozen hours on low and a five amp battery has all its bars still. And it is moving a lot of air even on low. I'm delighted with it.
