This part is just as bad as the Chinese one I had previously ordered. Crapped out after two months. In order to fall under the bs “lifetime warrantyâ€, I would have had to take the vehicle in to have diagnostics run on the EGR system complete with voltage read outs...for a $25 part replacement. Yeah, right. I just installed my third sensor, only this time I shelled out the bucks for a Ford Motorcraft part. This is one of those items where only the real deal works, not some cheap knockoff.Update: Seller shipped replacement part free of charge without return and no diagnostic performed, just my word. Cheryl at customer service was superb! I still stand by my position that the Motorcraft part is better, but I give them 4 stars for customer service.

This EGR - Exhaust Gas Recirculation Pressure Feedback Sensor was purchased to replace a factory item. The info on this item said it was a direct replacement for the one that was on my car. After a simple installation on my car, the car returned to normal functionality for several weeks. At that time, I started to see a slight reduction in fuel economy for the car. The thought of this new piece was a problem did not enter into consideration till the check engine light came on and the indicators were related to the this sensor. I wondered if a hose had come off or was it a wiring issue. When I saw the nearly new sensor with holes, malformities, and what looked like a melted piece of plastic, I took it to a shop to see what could have gone wrong. The mechanics assessment was the piece was either made with material that was not intended to support requirements or the item was inferiorly built. In either way it was required to replace the part with one from a credible vendor. I feel the vendor should cover the costs of replacement. If they wont then I would not recommend buying anything from them.

Definitely worth buying here verses the big stores. I went to all of them & didn't know Amazon sold it. Decided to check here & it was super cheap & the very EXACT one they sell in auto zone, advance auto & O'Reilly. So get it & it was the right size & works eprfectly.

I had bought two other ones that went out within a few months from two different auto parts stores in town I decided to take a shot on this one from here and so far this had lasted longer then those two which Im surprised and was half the cost of the other two from the auto parts store I'd say it's worth trying out especially when your saving some money.

Part seems great and look identical to the OEM one but I only got a couple of months out of this part and then it bit the bullet, so I had to replace it again.
