Used this mount to fit a 1990's Savage 110 long bolt flat back so I could add a new Leupold VX Freedom 3-9x40 scope. Also added Monstrum SR-1-p100 rings, 1" dia. with a 1" lift.Fit perfectly! Torqued to 20 in-lbs with Blue Locktight.Make sure your 2 inner screw holes (#2&3 of the 4) measure 4.630" apart & you are good!No effect on ejection of shells, a little harder to top load the chamber than with the 2 pc mounts that were on it, but the Leupold is sooo much clearer that the cheap Simmons scope that was on it.Thanks for a great product & supporting an older rifle!

Put this on my rifle as the original two piece rail wasn't working with my new scope. Worked like a charm!

Ordered this Rail to replace a proprietary Leupold ring/base set on an 1960’s Savage 110 LD in 270 Win for my dad and a new optic purchase. The rail sits higher than I expected, and the mounting screws were very cheap. I put Blue Loctite on them to prevent them from backing out and as soon as I got tight the screw began to strip. I stopped at that point on each screw, but none of them got as tight as I’d like to have seen. And no, I am not talking Hercules tight or severely overtightening them, I’m talking one hand on a ratchet. So if you have a normal or average Objective Optic on a traditional hunting barrel contour, go with Low rings and you’ll be happy. Other than mounting hardware, the rail itself looks good and should serve its purpose just fine. If companies just invested a tad more in above average quality mounting hardware, screws, Allen wrenches, etc more customers would really be impressed.

Perfect fit on my .308 Win Savage 110 with a flat back long action. The base mounts securely to the rifle.I torqued the mounting screws to 18-20 inch pounds with a Wheeler Fat wrench.
