Please do not get the pre-stamped pattern wet before finished because the dye is washable.
Color blocks on the printed pattern are not the real color of the floss, be sure to use the colored tread according to the symbols.
When you finish the embroidery kit,you need to use hot water instead of warm and soak for about an hour or longer.

This was such a fun Crosstitch. It is easy and error proof for beginners. It is quite large and took me a month to finish. The color and pattern symbols are easy to follow. The end result looks like something professional. I’ve attached a before and halfway through picture to show what the hand stamped background looks like as well as a finished product. Although quite a project, it was fun and easy. The kit comes with all the thread and needles to finish the project. Couldn’t believe that the whole kit was only $4.99. What a great price. The thread alone cost more than that. Good value for and nice quality product. Already planning to do another one.

This kit is an 11 count (11 stitches per inch) cross stitch with each square printed directly on to heavy weight Aida canvas. It measures 30cm x 40cm and includes 40 colors of polyester embroidery floss, 2 needles, a printed pattern sheet, and another sheet with generic instructions. A small sticker with a photo of the image is also included. This kit is all full cross stitch, no partial stitches and no back stitch. Basically, you can work this kit with nothing else except decent light, and a small pair of scissors to snip thread.I don't like polyester floss as well as cotton floss, but the colors are beautiful and it's working well enough. It's just a bit softer and fuzzier and more liable to catch on my skin, and with just a bit less sheen. Not a problem for this project. The printing on the canvas is also adequate. There are a few symbols that are printed slightly off the center of the stitch in part of the canvas, but not badly enough to cause real trouble. There are a few symbols printed in very similar colors, so I need good neutral light to distinguish them, but with care, they aren't a problem.If you haven't worked this sort of kit before, I recommend that you watch a few Youtube videos for some additional background. You will want to use 3 strands of the floss for stitching. The canvas is very stiff so you shouldn't need to have a frame to work it. There are no real instructions for interpreting the color legend, but it's not too difficult to figure out. Be sure to keep your hands dry so the color printed on the canvas doesn't melt away on you before you get it stitched.The canvas is not serged around the edge, but it is heavily sized and doesn't seem to be raveling on me. I haven't tested to verify that the printed color will dissolve easily after stitching, but feel fairly comfortable that it will. I'll update this review if I have any trouble with this.I chose this kit because of the low price and the image. I know that these small cross stitch kits cannot possibly show all the detail shown in the product photo. There just aren't enough pixels for this. But I think that this field of wildflowers will look nice, even if it is fairly pixilated/blurry. I started yesterday in the lower right corner and the little daisy shows up well enough as a flower. I'm having a good time.

I bought this kit assortment for times when I don't want to count in order to cross stitch. I've been enjoying it overall. I would have liked the stitch code printed on the aida cloth to be a little larger but that's a minor inconvenience. I would buy from this company again without hesitation.

These little kits are usually so cheap that the floss drives me insane always tangling and just generally crap. BUT this kit has been completely opposite. The floss feels great, good quality, am loving t so far, started w the st patricks day. Will follow up!

This was a fun project. I had to alter some of the color suggestions, like the beard was supposed to use the same color as the moon which would have made the beard pink, and I switched some plum thread for the mouth of the pumpkin. All in all, pretty pleased with the results. Excited to work on the other pictures in this kit.
