I always just rolled out wire by hand and typically had no problems. However, I've hired young guys now and they will turn a 250ft roll of wire into a giant rats nest every time. This reel keeps them from doing that so for me it's well worth the money.

This made pulling wire so easy. I pulled over 2000 feet, of12-2G and 10-2G wiring my new home.

The rolls of wire constantly jumble up inside the carrier making it hard to pull. The other end of the wire will also start coming out of the side holes and getting would up on your pole. Tends to work better if you lay it horizontally .

Nice product, wire is held firmly enough that it doesn’t unravel but not too tight that it restricts movement

Waste of money for $84THIS IS W SCAMTHE WIRE OR CABLE DOES NOT FIT OVER THE CENTER PIECE I HAD TO TAKE OUT SOME OF THE CABLE IN THE MIDDLE FOR IT TO FIT

So to start off this is a one of a kind product, I have been looking for a solution to be able to pull multiple types of wire together and this is the only thing I can find.The idea is simple and genius all at the same time. It works fantastic when it works but there are a few things that will keep it from being a great product.Pros- as a kit it makes pulling wire much easier than any other way I have found. It makes moving the wire an easier job as well as keeps it all nicely together. It feeds easily most of the time and seems to have a pretty good build quality.Cons- The plastic is really thin on the holders and has deformed slightly. The bar they include with the 4 spool kit is far shorter than what is pictured. It doesn’t come out the end of the stands and this cause it to constantly come loose and eventually will fall over. There have been multiple times the pipe slid out of the mounts after being tightened.The problems still are not enough to really impact the use of the item. It occasionally is a little annoying that you will have to put the thing back upright after the rod comes loose but it is an easy thing to do.We have a local machine shop fabricating a new rod that is longer and has flat spots in the needed locations for having 4 reels installed. This should fix the issues it has.I still highly recommend this product and will continue to use it.
