The DEWENWILS Retractable extension cord works perfectly. The cord pulled out to its full 50 feet retracts quickly and completely. I especially like the way it pivots in the direction I pull. I also like that I can easily dismount it from the wall bracket and take it where I need it.

I've been going back and forth on getting one of these for like 2 years. They're kind of pricey compared to just getting another extension cord. Decided to finally upgrade when one of my cords died. I mounted this to the ceiling of my garage and it has been absolutely phenomenal. Build quality seems great, and the spooling mechanism feels robust. I've never had any issues with getting it to roll back up, in fact you actually have to be careful or it'll reel that sucker in at mach speed. The cable is thicker than most of my extension cords which gives it a satisfying weight and less tangling while unspooled. The small LED inside the end of the cable to indicate that it is receiving power is also a nice feature.Quick tip, if you want the cord to lock in place after unspooling the desired amount, there's a bit of a trick. You'll hear some clicks every partial rotation, stop pulling when you hear the clicks and it will lock when you let go.

I bought this with my own money and didn't receive anything for this review. I like it. It retracts nicely. It locks at different lengths when you want it to. It releases when you want it to. Feels sturdy. Absolutely must be mounted to a ceiling rafter or stud, it's heavy and there is no possible way this could be safely installed into just Sheetrock. I plugged it into the same outlet as my garage door opener.

Really solid product, I looked everywhere locally and couldn’t find anything that was of any sufficient quality. I’m very happy that I went with this and didn’t settle.Quite heavy, includes everything you need for installation. Love the built in pop out fuse, saves me flipping breakers.
