Demonstrates the force of air pressure without a vacuum pump. In this modern variant of a famous 17th-century experiment, student place the edges of two hemisphere cups together and squeeze them, forcing out the air between them. In a tug of war, students try to pull the cups apart, surprisingly difficult task. Each of the 7.5 cm diameter rubber hemisphere has a 2-finger tug handle and 2 release posts.

We microwave frequency, flipping over a dish or bowl to cover a plate's contents we're heating up. When heating up is finished, the suction cup is a very handy one hand device to lift and remove our 'hot cover'. This style has no 'moving parts' or crevisus, no places to 'catch' food bits and is dishwasher safe. First got one in 2010 and have used several times a week since then. Picked up a pair of these as spares, since I've not seen these available in years and years. A welcomed kitchen helper.

I provide sound therapy and usually when I am balancing bowls on the body, I hold the bowl in place by pressing down in the center of the bowl with my free hand but I feel this takes away from the client experience so I wanted to give these a try and they are perfect! Very nicely made, good smooth quality material.

Simply press onto smooth clean surface. Holds really strongly. Works great on glass, plastic or metal surfaces. A little pull on the release point makes them easy to remove.

I only received one suction cup and it is supposed to a a pair. I needed it for a lab for my class so I was very disappointed to only get one in my order.

These worked as hoped for gripping glass and some painted surfaces while cleaning. The thumb knobs to release are great but do fall off eventually.
