I am a retired glazier who still works on small projects. I bought a suction cup last April for when I need to carry glass with a cup. I never opened the box at the time it was delivered. Two days ago I opened the box to use the suction cup and noticed a 1†round piece of rubber missing from the cup. It’s worthless in this condition and Amazon won’t let me return it because I bought it 9 months ago. Don’t waste your time and money buying this junk. Totally a POS.

I have worked in glass 27 years… have used many suctions cup… this one lasted about 3 months then started loosing suction.. when lifting a shed glass 60x 120 x 1/4 last thing you need is a cup loosing suction on you… I maybe used 1 or 2 times a day around the shop.. I would not recommend buying this … thanks Gerald Davis

My primary use for this is to carry mirrors that have been removed from bathrooms. We have some mirrors which have started to deglaze along the edges, and I needed something to help me carry them. Note that I cleaned off the mirrors thoroughly prior to trying the suction cup. Having a clean surface is key to getting good suction.Overall, this did make the job easier, but there were times when I was a little concerned that the pressure applied to the mirror may cause it to shatter. This is why I always wore gloves when handling any of the mirrors. The included gloves are fine, but I would suggest better quality gloves.It does come with a nice storage case. This allows me to have some semblance of organization and cleanliness in my otherwise disaster of a garage. Overall, it's an invaluable tool to make a few jobs easier where you have a smooth surface you can attach this to.
