I needed to cover an area around a ceiling light that had a little damage and I didn't want to mess with it too much as the popcorn ceiling is old and has asbestos in it. I decided to use this to cover it. I made sure to measure to make sure the inner diameter wasn't too wide. This fits perfectly, covers nicely, and looks good to boot.

I love this product. It's lightweight, easy to handle. My wife wanted me to paint the ceiling gold but then the light fixture looked a little small. This pendant allowed me to frame the fixture to make it look more, "substantial". It comes in half so you don't have to remove the fixture wires to install. I used a bit of construction adhesive, and chose not to paint the pendent because it's white looked great.

This is very lightweight and easy to install not sure what it is made out of but makes it light for putting it on your ceiling. The design is very pretty for my daughters room we placed it around her curling fan and it helps over the gap we had.

It was too small for where I wanted to use it. It's definitely overpriced for what it is, so I'm kinda glad it didn't work for me.

I loved the look of this medallion, but unfortunately, the edges do not line up, so it cannot be put up without a gap where it was cut in half.I've ordered another medallion from the same company, that did not have this issue, so this was either a cutting error, or a flaw with this specific medallion style when you order the one that comes in two halves. It is lightweight, and would be very easy to put up, but with this particular style being so detailed, I don't think caulking in the gaps in the actual design would work.It will be returned, and the search for a different medallion that can be put up around an existing fixture will continue.

The split design is practical for not having to take the canopy down before installing, but because the product is cheaply made the cut lines aren’t perfect. The cut line will likely show.
