It is sturdy yet will install with ease.The value for the cost is acceptable when compared to other places for same item.It can be customized or personalized to fit the decore of choice.The material is light weight helps with installing. This medallion will go in room with an antique bed and light colored walls and it will work perfectly. I wanted to balance the dark wood of the furniture and the hickory finish will help me accomplish. It's got a solid feeling even though it's not wood therefore it's not heavy. Good selection. Photo is faded and true finish is a richer brown.

This is very light weight, a foam injection using a mold it would seem, then coated with primer. The surface was very smooth, took my latex and oil based paints perfectly.It would be beautiful in an entirely metallic paint, but I wanted something with more impact due to the ornate chandelier I have.This project took me 3 days but I am extremely detail oriented, I went back and fixed any overlap of paint that no one will ever see. I thought some people would like to see what one of these looks like in color, hope it helps make the detail more visible.I haven't installed it yet, waiting for the electrician to put up my lights, if I remember to I'll post an installed photo.

We Bought a crystal chandelier for our bedroom Amazon said this was something that was frequently bought with the chandelier so we ordered it, we think it looks great.We painted it prior to installing the lightI was very easy to install I just glued it in place with construction adhesive.

This is gorgeous, and it really takes a light fixture to the next level! However, it is extremely hard to install. It adds 3+ inches to the ceiling, which means that if the light fixture you purchased doesn't have particularly long hardware to install it, you might run into the same issues we did. My husband had to go purchase a whole new lamp/hardware kit with a longer piece. After 2 days he finally got it up, and it's beautiful.

This was such a great value for the money. Very light weight. Easy to install and easy to paint over. I needed something very quickly to add above a chandelier in my daughter’s bedroom for a room makeover. This was by far a great choice. Highly recommend. If you see my pics, the medallion may look smaller than it is only Bc it’s above a full size big chandelier that was once in a dining room. I’d say this is about “medium†in terms of sizing. It worked perfectly.

I use this product to cover a very damaged plaster ceiling where many changes of light fittings have chopped up the ceiling and I would be installing a remote-controlled ceiling fan where the damage would have been left exposed. It was very light and easy to install using 'Liquid nails" and worked an absolute treat.

This medallion is so pretty. It will do the job of covering an odd area in our ceiling after we switch fixtures. It's reasonably priced too.
