I didn't want to lower the chandelier.Two pieces made it easy. The seams lined up perfectly. It's white so didn't even need to be painted. Could not ask for more.

This worked perfectly for what I needed. The fan was already up so I needed a split medallion. I used a small hacksaw and a sharp box cutter to widen the opening, then smoothed the edges by sanding lightly. I painted a soft gray which is perfect in this room. It's extremely lightweight and was easy to put into place. I would suggest including double sided adhesive strips with this to make it easier to install, but all in all, I'm quite happy with it.

Paint goes on well, but using spray paint be careful on the back as the foam may get pitted.
