I am a person who always wears shorts at the pool. This is perfect to replace them. I never took it off, even when I went in the pool. It gave the perfect shadows to hide what I wanted and still make me feel good in my bathing suit. Only negative is you really need to tie it like double knotted to keep it on. Or it will loosen. And there is plenty of material to tie it but it goes beyond the ties to fit properly. You do not need to size up.

I’m 5’6 about 140-150 and I got a large. It fit good and felt good! I’m sure I could have gotten a medium but I wanted a little more coverage. I felt comfortable and it stayed on with no problems. Cute and worth it

I enjoy the style and sheerness of the fabric. My issue is with the sizing. I am typically a large in most clothing. The large fits no problem around my waist, but I was looking for a bit more thigh coverage - and after reading other reviews I decided to order the same one in two sizes larger (XXL). Pictured is the size difference between a large and a 2XL! You get about 1 more inch in the bottom coverage portion of the skirt and about 6+ more inches in the tie up portion of the skirt. I would like to see equal portion changes when the skirt is sized up. When trying this 2XL on - it doesn’t change the coverage of the front of my thighs. It’s the same as the size large! I just have excess tie hanging down.

First off I have to agree with those that say size up twice. I'm glad I did. It's not that your regular size won't go around you with room to spare, but if you want the coverage part to go 2/3 of the way across on both front and back, you need the extra width. I am typically a size 4 or 6, and I got a large...its perfect. Enough coverage, and having the extra long ends to tie is just fine. You don't need a big bow or anything, the fabric has enough friction to stay tied well with a single knot and it hangs nicely.Something else to be aware of, even the dark gray is pretty transparent. It's ok, but would be even better with a little more opacity.Very versatile in terms of where and how you tie it which is nice. Seems to stay where you put it.
