Just what I needed, it’s fast heating up the coals and easy to use! The handle is very well made but was a little tricky connecting but I finally got it on!

I like that I can heat a good bit of coals at once. It heats quickly and I only have to flip once.

It gets my coals going!!I set coals on burner while getting my hookah together and when I’m done they are on fire lol. Love it. Do recommend doing outside. Does produce flames and those coals are horrible smell.

This Newbeeclassic electric charcoal burner arrived in a nice retail packaged box. The burner is easy to unpackage and use. This burner can be used to heat or cook in an emergency if you have a generator or power station. However, the handle used for picking up the charcoal tray was missing from the package which could potentially be a burn danger to the consumer. I conducted several tests using this burner. On the first test, I noticed a slight burning smell and smoke from the lightly oiled aluminum charcoal tray which quickly dissipated. Another issue that I experienced is that the burner started to warp within the first five minutes of use. The burner was set to number #4 on the heat dial. The heat dial is marked from 1-5, 5 being Maximum heat. I also noticed no difference in the amount of electrical power required between dial setting #3, #4, or #5. The second test I used a solar power station to test the power consumption of the burner. I averaged between 589-591 watts of continuous electrical power draw. Once the burner was hot then it would cycle on and off. The 3rd test resulted in the same power draw as the 2nd test but this time I lined the charcoal tray with aluminum foil. The burner does eventually become extremely hot and caution should definitely be used during use. I definitely “Would not†use this burner around unsupervised children or pets!

After a couple of my friends suggested I switch from quick light hookah charcoals I started looking at electric charcoal starters. I had the opportunity to review this one and found that it is great and makes switching to non quick light charcoal easy. Just plug it in and let it do its initial burn off. After that it took about ten minutes to have my coals ready to go. The only standard charcoal I had was Dream Hookahs coconut charcoal and it functioned very well with that. The reason I mentioned using that particular charcoal is that it has an odd arch shape vs the standard cubes. Despite the odd shape this charcoal starter worked great so I would imagine it would light any charcoal well.
