These are great. I have charcoal chimney's and they work fine but I can just throw these in the grill with the charcoal, light it and walk away. I just let it burn for 30 minutes and the grill is ready to go. They get hot enough to get the coals going, so they work great.

These fire starters work great . Easy to light and last long enough to light the charcoal without going out or burning out. No chemicals. Recommend.

Text to use with chimney starters and starts up quick. Make sure to buy this one because some are clones of this. Make sure to buy This one because the other ones are junk

Maybe I'm just not patient enough (then why did I get a charcoal grill, right?), but these do seem to work. Just takes some time to get things fired up. I've been throwing 2 of these in my Kamado Joe Joe Jr., letting them go for a couple minutes, but then I get impatient and use my torch (Bernzomatic?) to get things going. I imagine that the firestarter would be sufficient... But just like the age old question "how many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop?", I may never know.I don't notice any flavor imparted into my food, they're fully burned up by the time the charcoal is hot and ready to go, so I didn't really expect that anyway. Decent, but a bit pricy. Not sure I will buy them again.

Easy to use, no lighter fluid. If there is a draw back, I need to use a small torch to light them but they ignite fast and easy, it’s a reliable product.

I have tried multiple methods of starting my charcoal grill. Most ended up with a poor light and some with burn holes in my clothes. These starters are perfect for lump charcoal. The ignite well, stay burning long enough to get charcoal started and ensures good light every time. Now my method of lighting my grill. I keep boxes of these in stock.

These work perfectly and I cut each segment in half as that’s all that’s needed.

Work quite well in my charcoal chimney starter, but struggle a bit if it's windy.

These fire starters are absolutely great. They light up fast and last long enough to get your coals going and then some. And best of all they have no smell and do not leave any taste. They come in two, pre-scored large blocks and are extremely easy to break off to use. Light up a piece and put it under your charcoal chimney. You're done.
