I was sceptical but this machine had good reviews. It is good for grating softer cheeses like mozarella. The motor sounds like it is struggling but I reimnded myself this is not a food processor. It is so easy to clean, very stable when operating, and does the job. One thing I would have liked is a longer slicing blade so when slicing cheese it would then not shred the cheese while slicing. It is better than the others because the blade is permanently mounted in a holder. Other units require insertion of these cheaply made blades that have tabs to secure them in the blade holder. It will not last and it is not easy to insert blades into holder. This unit is good for cheese grating and slicing.

This cutter does a pretty good job with hard vegetables. I have RA and have difficulty with chopping. The chopper is a bit noisy but cut through carrots, zuchinni without any trouble. It didn't do a great job on scallions; I used the thick slice blade. Next time I'll use the grate blade. My celery was a bit limp and wouldn't go through. Overall, a great addition to my veg heavy kitchen! The description says the moving parts are dishwasher safe; haven't tried this but plan to!

I'm surprised how nice it grates cheese. It was too easy to grate. I have used other brands, and you have to push hard to grate. This one is like doing butter. I would buy again. I love it.

Not as expected. We need to press and hold the power button to work with it.

If you don't have one definitely get one! The cheese grater is an absolute dream. Plus block cheese melts so much faster then getting grated cheese from the store.

I bought this grater to grate chocolate and have only used it once. It grated well, but chocolate lodged in the area below the attachment release button. It's impossible to access the area with a dishcloth or brush. I've tried power spraying the area with hot water while lifting the release button, but that doesn't work. Soaking in hot, soapy water doesn't help either.I'm very disappointed, because my favorite chocolate chip recipe requires 8 oz. of grated chocolate, which I just can't manage because of the arthritis in my hands. And it doesn't seem sanitary to use the grater for my next batch, because if new chocolate has a way of getting in, old chocolate must be able to get out and mix with the new batch.

So much easier then hand grating. We use mostly for cheese so a great cost cutter!

I was hesitant to spend the money but it was worth every cent…it is easy to use … easy to clean… easy to change grating heads and you can grate an entire block of cheese in less than 2 minutes … I highly recommend this especially if you hate grating …
