This wire is ok. Flexible and works fine. My fence size is about 200 ft, so this works ok for short distance. I think for longer life and bigger fence, thicker guage wire should be better, like 16 or 14 guage.I don't see any holes or cut on jacket.Works for my small fence, but not sure how it will work with larger area.

I used this wire for a science project with my 11 year old son. We built various electro magnets with it to test how wire can affect the strength of the magnet. This wire held up well, even when hooked up to higher voltage batteries, the insulation did not melt. Was easy to cut and strip as well.

Supposed to be 500ft roll, mined only had 350 ft. Had to make play area short.
