I like that it is big enough to fit a 10" skillet/pot as this is what I use most of the time, besides the 8" skillet. However, I did find out three issues that I don't like as follows:(1) Like other users I found out that after use - and I did not have the pot wet - it did make a white film that sometimes I can clean up, but mostly it stays on the ceramic top.(2) Another thing that I found out is that if you leave it plugged in and not use it - like overnight storage type - the "power" light flashes red, which is annoying and to some degree alarming thinking that there is something wrong. The seller indicated that this is how the appliance was built.(3) The most annoying issue that I have - at least on my appliance - is that the button indicators are very dim and they cannot be properly seen unless you are at a specific angle and have bright overhead lights (or a flashlight). This is my most annoying issue because I believe that it is a little dangerous since I pressed buttons while mixing the food in the skillet.

Two things to know about this. One, is temperature is COMPLETELY un-regulatable!! The lowest setting is still TOO hot and boils stuff!!!! Second, the top control for increase/decrease temperature, just randomly changes when you bump it with a pot, lid, etc!! Had to return this and got a regular old coil burner, works great!

Great table top cooker! All types of cookware work on this infrared unit, unlike induction cook tops. Heats up immediately and the 10 heating levels are useful for the varied cooking temps needed in different recipes. Have used it on the screened porch to pan cook steaks, rather than smoking up the kitchen, or having to get the grill prepared. Really a very useful gadget :-)

I recently moved into a new home and my induction stove top does not work like I thought it would. I bought this just for other types of pots that were not stainless steel. In the end we have to use it all the time since our pots don't work on the induction stove top. It heats up fast and is easy to use. The fan stays on for a while after use so it's a bit noisy, but not a big deal. Very simple and easy to use.

I bought this to avoid scraping my stove from the cheap pans I used to buy from walmart. Overall, this unit works well, but the fan is a bit loud, and the highest setting is not super hot. You're not gonna get that flame grilled charcoal crust on your meats with this but you'll get pretty descent stew or soup turnarounds.

This little burner works surprisingly well. It's pretty sleek looking too. I have it set up in my garage to make meat so I'm not stinking up the house. I'm able to heat up a piece of cast at power level 10 until its white and smoking and it maintains heat throughout the entire cook. Pretty powerful for a little burner. No error codes or overheating at power level 10. I've only used it 5 times but am hoping it doesn't crap out on me given it's really low price.I had just bought an induction burner similar to this and within a minute was getting e6 errors on higher heat settings. Waste of $100.Will update if there's any issues but so far so good!

I bought this to can using my 17 litre water bath canner. Took a long time to achieve boiling state, but maintained it easily. No problem handling the weight
