These Battery operated shears are extremely efficient. They effortlessly cut/shear limbs or branches 1-1/2 inch thick. This kit comes with two (2) rechargeable battery packs, extra shearing blades, oil, small tool kit, and charger and a pair of work gloves. I used it on a very large ground fir shrub that was six feet wide and two feet tall and it made quick work of cutting back all the limbs/branches and even cutting the roots when digging up. Definitely worth the money as it saves a lot of time and effort if you have to do manually.

Was trimming my hedge the other evening when a neighbor offered to loan me his cordless shears (another brand) that he got at a garage sale. It saved me hours of work and made me want to get my own pair. This set from Amazon comes with it all - the shears, extra blades, 2 rechargeable batteries, lubricating oil, and even a nice set or work gloves with rubber texture on the front that are thin enough to make dexterity easy while using the tool.My neighbor's set had a safety button you had to push down with one finger while activating the shears with the other and once you let go of the trigger, you had to push the safety lever down again. This set uses 2 quick presses of the trigger before you can cut with it which means if you accidentally pull the trigger it won't cut unless you've pulled it 2 times quickly first and gotten the beeping sound. Just pulling it or pulling it 2 times won't activate it. Not a bad safety feature.Perhaps one advantage of my neighbor's set was the blades were actually offset from the handle which made them a little more visible in thick leaves and stems, but these are fine if you make sure your other hand is out of the way as you push the leaves and stems away before cutting.

Bought this tool to prune small branches of fruits trees I have around. Doing it manual for many trees was bit tiring so looked for an option. This tool effortlessly cuts and reduces the effort in half. Packaging is good and comes with all needed. So far I have cut down one whole tree branches into small chunks and charge held up well. It took about an hour or so. Also has extra blades for replacement. My only worry is it cuts it so quick and efficiently, doesn’t have any failsafe for any inadvertent accidents. One have to be very careful handling this, although gloves included, would recommend something better and tough to keep your fingers safe. All in all recommended if you have a good number of trees that needs pruning seasonally.

The power of this tool is amazing! It cuts cleanly very well and cuts any wood that we've been able to fit in the jaws.We had one issue with the product however and that was with the recharger. It didn't work at all and even though we thought the batteries were being charged, they weren't and when the charge dropped below the point to run the tool, it quit working - about two months after buying the tool. Past the window to return it to Amazon. I wrote to the company, explained that the charger didn't work, and they refunded my account $19.99 to purchase another charger on Amazon. It took only one email and I was very impressed with the customer service.I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 because of the charger problem and also the fact the batteries don't fit in the tool well. I had to loosen the "battery housing portion of the tool" so that they would fit in the tool snug enough to hold them but also loose enough that my wife could change the battery.I haven't received the just ordered replacement charger and assuming it gets everything working again, I'm happy with the purchase. If it doesn't work, I'll revise this review.If you're looking for a tool with the fit and finish of a Makita tool, or something similar, this isn't quite it, but with a little adjustment, it works as advertised.

Used for one month weekly and stopped working. Made sure battery was charged, connected to battery and turned device on. It started smoking badly and we took it apart immediately. This device is hazardous and should not be used. Need to find battery disposal.

It is so easy to use you don’t want to stop cutting branches. I love using it and makes yard work much more fun. Cut three those branches like butter! ðŸ˜
