I had an earlier version of these that I lost. This set was very expensive, however the power of them is amazing. I have not used the extension yet, will be doing that in a few months. If you have to do a lot of pruning and want the power to cut larger branches with ease, these are the ones. I was sad that they did not provide a case with the set though.

First set was not labeled correctly, this larger version is very good, the pole has limited use but the hand shears are much better than many others on the market.

Purchased Electric Pruning Shears 40MM, Kebtek Cordless Pruner with Extension Pole 18V Brushless Motor 2Pack 2AH Rechargeable Battery-LCD Display Screen (KT940 Pruner+Pole Set)Was supposed to have a Carrying Case and does not. Need it for safe storage of the Pruner. It is also need so all the pieces and parts i.e.: pruner, charger, batteries, oil & tools are kept together.I have called the support phone provided 3 times and not received any phone calls back.If service is this poor for something as simple as the carrying case missing I hate to think what will happen if I really have a problem with the machine. This was not a cheap pruner.

I'm very satisfied with this purchase. The shears are easy to use when hand-held. When attached to the pole, they work just as well. The weight is not bad, although pruning above your head for a long time would probably get tiring. I'll also add that the maximum cut of 1.57" seems a little optimistic, but it easily cuts branches up to about 1". Overall, I'm glad I chose this rather than one of the similar products. Everything feels solid, even with the pole extended, and I found I was able to get a lot of pruning done in a short time.

I use this pruner for my fruit trees--both with and without the telescoping handle. Will not go back to manual pruners that aggravate my hands and forearms. Was surprised that use of telescoping handle with pruner mounted on the end was easy to manage-not overly heavy like i had feared. Would have rated a 5 but for how difficult I have found it to be to remove and install the battery. The battery fits very tight. With that said as a 76-year-old man I love this tool, and it is a joy to use.
