I have a flexsteel reclining couch unit that is several sections, one part had a switch that wasn't working all of a sudden, I looked into it seeing it was the switch so instead of trying to remove the switch unit possibly breaking it I bought this basic replacement instead. You just unplug the connector underneath the couch that feeds the switch and plug this in presto I can again recline the couch both legs section and head rest. For the price it was an easy option
