This unusual product was actually just what I needed to measure home theater components on a custom, dedicated 220v line. Unfortunately when I tried to use it today it wouldn't turn on despite passing power to the component I wanted to measure. I only used the meter one or two other times and it wasn't dropped or abused.

I cannot use this, as the gadget doesn’t plug into a 220 v outlet but only 110v outlet.I have to get a plug converter (not included) now to measure the required 220v

I haven't even opened this up yet. I bought this to be a 240 V Kilowatt Meter Analyzer Tester and I need to check my 240V outlet. The device has a backend connector for to a standard 120V outlet. I need it to connect to a 240 V outlet. The front side has a 240 receptacle but that doesn’t do me any good if I can’t plug it into my 240V outlet. Don’t know why they would make a device like this, it won’t connect.
