I should have noticed that all the positive reviews were for a free product. Confusing at first. Trick is you can’t push rivets all the way through and then attach brackets. You have to push them just part way, while holding bracket in place, then push through. This wasn’t clear in instructions.

Although it's advertised as a record table, I got it for my mother to use in her bedroom. She needs smaller items for storage and organization in her room to get rid of big pieces. I thought this might work for her microwave and fridge, but it's too short for that. But it will be used to hold her file folders and other documents. The hardest part of assembly was getting the plastic off the pieces, but after that it was a breeze to put together and took less than 15 minutes. It has some weight on it which adds to the durability but that's a great thing. This is a great buy no matter what you use it for.

NOT STURDY AT ALL. I was storing 22 records in this container since February and it broke. The little plastic pieces that fasten the sides and bottom together are super dinky. I wish the acrylic pieces were thicker and that the plastic fasteners were more substantial. I love the look of this, but it feels cheap. Don’t throw the extra plastic fasteners away after touching assemble- you may need them if it breaks!

I purchased this to hold some vinyl records that I don’t have room for in my regular vinyl records collection. It assembled easily and is going to be nice for storage.

I have to be honest. I haven't used this vinyl record storage box yet, because I haven't put it together. I'm sure once it's all in one piece, it will work just fine. I'm certainly not sweating over that. I just didn't expect to have to put it together myself, so I was disappointed when it arrived. I set it aside and planned to get around to it soon. Sadly, I haven't found that "round tuit," and it's sitting on a table in my home office, waiting. In the meantime, my records are still safe in plastic milk bins when I'm not playing them. Eventually I'll get it put together...eventually. I can't give it a super-low score, because I know it's going to be sturdy and hold a good stack of my old vinyl. Unfortunately, I can't give it a high score either, because although I probably just missed the fact that I had to assemble it, the idea of having to do it brings me down.
