I frickin love this thing. I don't eat anything all day. Just my choice. But once in a while I do get hungry and this way I can keep a hard boiled egg handy. It is a pain to boil eggs on stovetop. Bring water to boil, carefully add eggs time just right etc... plus they don't peel without breaking the egg. THIS ONE IS AWESOME. put eggs in, they cook. Tells you when done. Bam! Hard boiled,or however you want them eggs. Throw the dome and holder in dishwasher. All done. They peel perfectly. If this ever breaks, I am definitely getting another. Even made deviled eggs! Delish!

We usually buy packaged hard boiled eggs for the ease of someone else doing all the work. But now we can make one to seven eggs at a time for our salads or a meal of eggs, or egg salad, I could go on and on. This gadget is so easy and cooks the eggs just the right length of time. Peeling an egg has never been easier. I promise. So now we can make as many or as few eggs as we need whenever we need them and the price of this appliance covers just two or three bags of the precooked eggs at the store. And we've already made up for it in two months. Get this egg cooker. It's beautiful. It's compact. It's very easy to clean. And you really can't goof it up.

It cooks the eggs, but although the measuring cup is included, adding just the right amount of water is an art. It dings when the water has evaporated. I poached eggs a few times, varying the water by millimeters. The eggs were either over-cooked or under-cooked. I hate runny egg whites! Also, the ON/Off button is the push type that requires a little bit of force. To turn off, you need to hold the entire unit, or it will fly off the counter. If the unit is hot, this could be a problem. A slide ON/OFF switch would be better.It works, but I would recommend another type. I wouldn't give this as a gift, as the receiver would be disappointed.

My son uses this to make scrambled eggs. I don’t have to worry about him using the stove incorrectly. It beeps when it’s done so nothing over cooks. I also use it to hard boil eggs. So easy!

THIS HB EGG MAKER IS SO EASY TO USE. I'VE ONLY USED IT TO HARD BOIL EGGS. YOU ADD A LITTLE WATER (MEASURING CUP INCLUDED), PUT THE EGGS ON THE RACK AND CLICK THE ON BUTTON. IN ABOUT 5 - 10 MINUTES, THE EGGS ARE DONE TO PERFECTION. I PUT THEM IN AN ICE BATH, BUT MAYBE I DONT NEED TO. THE EGGSHELLS COME OFF REALLY EASILY.WHEN DONE, DO A QUICK WIPE DOWN. I USE SOS PAD ON THE METAL PLATE, BUT EVERYTHING ELSE IS EASY TO CLEAN.I LIKE IT SO MUCH, I'VE GIVEN IT AS A GIFT TO OTHER HB EGG LOVERS. THEY LOVE IT TOO.TRY IT, YOU'LL LIKE IT!

I used to have such a hard time peeling eggs in order to make deviled eggs. This holds 7 eggs which is the perfect amount for a couple and the eggs peel easily.

The Elite Gourmet Rapid Egg Cooker is great for making fast easy boiled eggs. Not pots to watch or water boil. It is everything I wanted and very convenient. The cooking time is so fast you may not believe they are ready when the timer goes off but believe it because they are fully cooked. It takes up very little space on the counter top. I would buy it again.

I was replacing an old egg cooker with this one. Great price, good accessories, works as it should, except it does not turn off when it's done. The description said it would. I have to stay in earshot and manually turn it off. Still, way better than boiling them in water.

It took awhile to figure out how long for poached eggs. Not a fan of the hardboiled eggs.
