- DIMENSIONS: 2-15 oz. (1.6-6mm) Thickness Weight Veg-Tanned Leather. These are pre-cut from 6" to 48" plus different size hides. Made from Bullhide, our full-grain leather hides are vegetable-tanned. Each piece is cut to specific dimensions making it easy to start working on your project quickly.

Leather Properties & Characteristics
- FULL GRAIN LEATHER: Leather that has not been altered beyond hair removal. It is the most genuine of leathers, retaining all of the hide’s original texture and markings. The hide’s best, strongest, and most durable layer.
- LEATHER HIDE FEATURES: The leather hide is a fibrous tissue that is tight, has small elongation, elasticity board fullness, non-greasy feeling, full-grain leather, and soft absorbent volatile.

Minor Blemish or Natural Marks
Our full-grain leather grass feed cowhide is made from first-class cowhide. Since the leather is made of the least damaged skin, you will hardly find any blemishes, holes, and defects on the leather's surface. It has a vintage, aesthetic look to it. Note that natural leather hides will have some minor blemishes, ticks, scars, wrinkles but we try to minimize those issues.
No Cracks and Damaging
The tooling leather is thicker, more robust, and less prone to cracking and damage. The cowhide leather material is durable and lasts longer in comparison to the fabric. The leather has properties of repelling moisture, which also resists sun and heat damage, making it multi-functional.

When I first purchased This leather I thought 2 1/2 mm would be a good thickness, so I ordered it as well as The double rivets to hold my leather pieces together, I had ordered 7mm thinking this would be long enough for the double rivets, it turned out the leather was actually a lot thicker, closer to 2.75 mm so my double rivets were useless, I ended up cutting away about half the thickness on two different sections of the leather piece to make it narrow, and then used my double rivets to finish out the project, the process would’ve been a lot quicker if it had been between two and 2 1/2 mm, but this was not the case, it would’ve been more convenient if the leather was actually as stated, but there’s always a workaround.The condition of the leather is absolutely gorgeous, my 10 W laser cut through it and printed on the leather perfectly, super happy with the first piece that came off, and I’m definitely looking towards making different pieces with much thinner leather in the near future, I think this is a great start for anybody that is Looking to find a product that will work perfectly for them, all in all I am very happy with the outcome and would recommend this product.

There was not a blemish nor a cut anywhere on it. So far I’ve made 7 six shooter holsters and still have enough left to make 3 maybe 4 more holsters. This leather is thick and durable and should last a lifetime if taken care of. Really good quality and reasonably priced

But it wasn't right for me. I think this would be fine for some cheap tooling leather to practice on. I made a small wallet out of it. It looks okay, but the leather is like cardboard in my opinion. I'm a newby to the craft so what do I know? I just wasn't as happy with it as others were. That said I still give it 4 stars because it is as described.

The leather I got was supposed to be 2-2.4mm thick but measuring with a caliper I only got 1.6-1.8mm. Leather looked nice but was pretty rough on the edges and had a few unusable spots. As for the overall size it was definitely on the smaller side of what it was listed as.

I ordered the leather in order to make an early 19 century military neck stock for my living history wardrobe. I've worn a black stock for years, but needed one in white leather, and simply could not find one.The leather I received was of good quality and the exact thickness I required.Using my black stock as a pattern and adding brass hooks typical in the period completed a very simple project that gave me exactly what I needed.

Good Value for size recieved. Leather is thinner perhaps a little thinner than listed in spots however for my use that is not a negative. I was looking for thinner veg tan. Leather shows a bit of a pattern of lighter and darker areas (almost like what would develop as large pebbling but with no raised areas); If they show after oiled and it develops some color I think I may like them though.
