Pay attention to the thickness because this is pretty thin leather that wouldn’t be the best for a sturdy belt strap. Good for other projects though very pliable.

I glow this to a Persian rug’s edge so it does not roll its corners. Works great.

The product leather is correct length and thickness. Only 1 side is surfaced. The back side is shreded split level surface. They seem to be of good strength.

I liked that I could easily cut the strap to the length I needed with a regular pair of shears. The strap was used to fix/cover a break in a 4' tall vase that was made of bamboo and had a painted, enamel finish. The vase had a tall neck that broke when it fell over. There needed to be a little bit of curvature in the leather to fit snugly. So, I googled, "How to bend/mold a leather strap." I got a guy who created a video showing the very simple process. I followed it, got the result I wanted, used a razor to shave the ends so there would not be a double thickness where I overlapped the ends as I wrapped the strap around the neck of the vase. I used some glue called E6000 that crafters use to first glue the vase, then glue the stap around the break. It worked beautifully.

This is quality leather I used for a repair project. It can be lightly tooled, cut and sewn.
