I was looking for some cheap light stands for my video studio and these are fantastic for the price. At 2 for $30 I figured that it's a no-brainer. I was very impressed when they arrived. They go taller than most at 7ft and are plenty sturdy for my elderly LED panels that weigh a bit more than their contemporary counterparts.I will likely order more as some of my other stands are getting a little beat up.Oh, and I like the fact that they come with carry bags. I doubt that I will use the bags much as I tend to leave the stands set up, but it's nice to have them in case I need to take the show on the road - as it were.

Bought this specifically to mount a FEIT 3 way LED camping light. The FEIT only maxed out @ 4ft. The extension goes up to 7ft. Fully extended it wobbles alittle. I guess it's good enough for camping or home power outages. Outdoor high wind areas I'll probably lower it down to 6ft and add some sand bags. Overall I'm pleased with the purchase. Definitely light weight product. Not for heavy duty use.

Nice height for a lightweight stand. Good for speedlights & modifiers, probably not the best choice for heavy lights.

Bought these to pack in my suitcase for a remote shoot. Was very happy with their size, ease to use and quality for the price.I used to hold diffusion panels. Will buy another set to add to my travel kit.

This item is exactly what I needed. It is not the sturdiest piece in my studio but, for traveling and hauling around in quick set-ups, it does the work. I only use it to support my fill-flash and hair-flash. (Flashpoint Zoom Li-on R2 TTL units) I haven't used heavier equipment on these stands. I think it will hold up a little more weight, but, I didn't buy them to do that.The storage bags that came with the product are nice (one bag per stand) I however, stored my stands with another heavier bag. I did used the bags on a shoot outdoors, and they were fine. No complaints.

Light weight, easy portable, sturdy to 6ft (2meters) easily support small flash and umbrella set up. Easy to move around when space is a premium. Not for outdoor use.

Exactly what I needed for a last second film shoot. Having misplaced a few light stands recently I needed 2 replacements to fill out my equipment. These light stands were cheap, effective and arrived quickly. the 1/4 screw head meant to I was able to attach both LED lights or a diffuser to the stand depending on what the set up required. I used these only as background or 2nd tier equipment so the demand wasn't too much. As long as they could keep a light firmly attached and off the floor I was satisfied.I will be keeping these in my lighting kit for now as they're handy and reliable.

Made of very thin metal, and extremely wobbly. Would NOT use for anything heavier than an umbrella or speedlight, whatever they say it can handle.And forget about outdoors, this will blow down. No anchor point for sand bag (it wouldnt handle the weight of it either) and no rubber/sharp feet for stability.What make it a not one star product is that you get two of them, and they are easy to store.
