It works quite well, an incredible deal for the money. The only thing that I don't like is that it doesn't have a power switch, you have to unplug it to turn it off. One thing that I would also like to mention, is the fact that this unit looks identical to the dbx 166XL except for the name printed on the chassis in the front, and the US Patent numbers that are printed on the back are in a different sequence, hmmmm.

Works great for the purpose and the price. It is used in a church for a pastor whose normal speaking voice ranges from very soft to very loud. I have the other channel hooked up to the worship leader who likes to yell, occasionally.

Fine product...Am using it for a movie home sound system and it functions exactly how it should...There's plenty of adjustment possibilities to tailor the sound you want. No "pumping" that you get with lesser quality limiters....
