Worked great for a few labels but then mysteriously stopped printing letters on the tape.

i was lookig for something simple to organize some boxes and crafts, and this little label maker does the job. it’s definitely got that old-school vibe, which i actually like, but it’s not without its quirks. the embossing is clear, but pressing down hard enough to get a good print can be tiring if you’re doing a lot of labels at once. the included tapes are nice, but they’re not super sticky – a few of them have started peeling off after a few days. it’s fun for casual use, but probably not the best option if you need something for more permanent labeling or offifce type use...

These are great little units! I remember having one when I was a kid that was much larger, so it's great to see a handheld unit that works just as well. The extra tapes are a great value, and the selector wheel is easy to use while including a bunch of symbols on top of your alphabetical letters. A nice feature I was glad to see was carried over from the older units was the small pull tab punched into the end of the label to help to remove the adhesive backing. Without the tab, it's VERY hard to remove the backing in most cases, but this is a limitation of the label type, and not this unit in particular. The only thing I feel I should mention is make sure you're squeezing the trigger hard every time. You can end up with half-pressed impressions if not, but again, not an issue with this unit in particular, but how these work in general.

I am so happy to have this. I love that this has a vintage feel and it works really well and is super easy. I love to punch in all of my letter and have had a lot of fun doing it. It is super easy to do and you have extra tapes so that you can continue to make label after label. I got these as a more antique and unique way to organize my space instead of just printing out labels on printer paper. This is definitely worth the price and I highly recommend.

You've gotta squeeze HARD to get letters to imprint visibly, and even with a hard squeeze, some don't show up very well at all. To the point where it's hard to read certain words. Quality isn't there.

I guess I’m spoiled to technology because this label maker was incredibly painful to use after making just a few labels. I’d gladly save my money and buy a better label maker than to use this manual punch style. I used this embossing label maker to identify the contents of my swatch books and my hands ached for days afterwards. The instructions for using this thing aren’t all that clear so I wasted more tape than I like admitting trying to get the hang of using this machine. It may just be me (I do have some weakness in my hands now that I’m older); this would not be something I’d get again.

Product arrived in a timely manner and was very well packaged. This basic embosser is relatively small and does not take up much storage room. It works great for those small jobs. I use it to label storage boxes so I can find the box I need when seeking items from the boxes like old bank statements. Easy to load and easy to work. Not much learning time before your able to produce great looking labels. I approve of this product and think you will also.
