I bought a beautiful small desktop ceramic mosaic clock at Goodwill with no hands and no mechanism. I would come across it in my "to do" box but not know where to find the mechanism. Finally this week I looked on-line, and found that most available kits were for wall clocks, not very small clocks like I have. When I finally found this listing I was over the moon. And a bit skeptical. But it arrived tonight, and I am so pleased. TWO mechanisms, four sets of hands, hooks, wall mounts, beautifully packaged, with a color brochure with detailed instructions. It's nice to have options for which style of hands to use. Within 20 minutes I had the whole thing set up and sitting on my desk telling time. Be careful putting the hands on the shaft, they are delicate and will bend. Apply pressure only to the round part that goes on the shaft. You'll need to press pretty hard. Another reviewer said to use the dial on the back to adjust the time and not to turn the hands manually. Oops! Well, no harm, no foul, it seems to be working fine.

Used it to replace a failed quartz mechanism in my mantle clock. Assembly directions were clear and the replacement went smoothly. So far the accuracy is right on. Having three different sets of hands to choose from is a plus so it was easy to match the clock face diameter.

This was very affordable for what you get. The hands are a bit flimsy but overall, a good value if you are looking for something for an inexpensive clock.

This worked great to make a clock in a cabinet space in my RV. Just drilled a hole and inserted this from the backside. I already had a stick-on clock face to use.

Older style kit clock where the hands broke over time. This kit was the only one that I could find online that would work. I didn't use their clock mechanism. Only the hands.
