After annoying, old movement started too sloow dooown & eat batteries! This is the replacement! I had a hard time time finding a "silent" high torque movement! at a reasonable price! also prefer a metal shaft/ tip where the hands attach, but this 1 is a hybrid, half plastic, half metal. works fine, just dont keep taking hands on & off, & be gentle. The main shaft was barely long enough to fit thru my BIG clock(18"+, with 9" hands), but it did fit. I needed at least 3/8" or more. after i left off the washers only 2 threads were poking out for the small brass nut, just enough!. It Arrived ok, but blister card was smashed in upon opening. right where the shaft protrudes on the package, the peak of the "bump out" I was worried it might be damaged, but seems to be working fine!I needed/wanted a high torque because the last/old movement was starting to breakdown. every week or 2 I noticed it was slow, like 20-30 minutes & had to reset, often. And then developed, a "glitch" at :35 minute(the 7 position) it would make a loud Click/clunk & kind of skip to the next minutes (broken gear?). old 1 was not the original movement. purchased at a big discount because it was missing. I had a very hard time finding a replacement ( -10 years ago) so I was reluctant to find new one. Still not easy(>$20), even on amazon! I wanted "silent because clock hangs over computer/work desk in bedroom. old one "ticked", but was barely audible. This 1 does same, but is fairly silent ( ticks can be heard in dead quiet). I Like metal tips, because I had durability issues with 1 that was mostly plastic. I'm keeping this 1, if it keeps good time this week! so far... ( ok...After about 10 days, noticed it is slowly lagging! about 5 min. SLOW! BUMMER, was fine at 1st, but I will keep a close eye/track, as last movement did same. will probably break down, + brand new Battery:( maybe not high torque enuff?). kinda disappointed. might have to spend more$20+ for quality tho.

I was finally able to get my large clock working again. It’s so easy to replace the mechanism and it’s keeping perfect time.

I painted this very large clock and needed new hands. I had purchased these in the past, so I knew they would fit. The mover we hired, unfortunately, did not wrap the clock correctly and the hands broke.You will need to make sure the shaft of the mechanism is the correct size.They work perfectly. You can hear the "tick" of the clock, but it is not super loud. This is actually in my bedroom and it does not keep me up at night. I can barely hear it and I have great hearing.I recommend this.

Product looks nice. But it runs fast. Gains about 6 mins a week.

First of all, it is exactly what it says it is. A clock mechanism with minute and hour hands. If this fits your clock then it should work.The only issue is the hands are very thin, I suppose they have to be. They are also covered with a thin film of protective plastic. Simply taking this off haphazardly will result in the hands bending so be very careful and take your time. I did not and I had to spend a while bending the hands back into shape (not very successfully but enough to get it to work).So it works, but be gentle and careful.

My clock stopped and it was the clock works. So my husband ordered new works. It worked for almost 2 days and then stopped. We thought it might be the batteries so we purchased new ones. It still would not work. That was 18.00 down the drain. My husband was so aggravated he threw it in the trash. Hope this won't happen to you.

Pour changement d'un mécanisme HS d'une grande pendule (diam 75cm) le nouveau mécanisme et ses aiguilles s'adaptent parfaitement, mécanisme très silencieux et jusque là très précis. Satisfait de mon achat.
