Bought this for our 11 year old Lab. Runs a bit small. She is a small Lab, weighing 55lbs. But the XL fit perfectly. We now feel confident in her safety swimming along side our kayaks. The thick hand strap on the top is sturdy, and the whole vest is well made.

During the summer we like to take the dogs to the creek and river, they have such a great time they don't want to get out and it caused a scare last year as our smaller pup swam until she couldn't anymore and struggled to get back to shore without support. This year we sent her in wearing this and it functioned beautifully. The fit was snug and didn't shift over her head, she was still able to run and splash around and have fun, and once it was on she wasn't distracted or chewing on it like it bothered her. She had a great time and wore herself out without us having to worry. Definitely measure your dog before you buy because ours was a size larger than I had expected, but it fit beautifully once i knew which to get.

This is a great life jacket for our Pitbull who loves swimming in our pool. It’s used multiple times a day during the summer that we go through 2 of these best as the Velcro begins to rip at the neck.

We take our Yorkie pup out in our kayaks and this life Jacket in XS is perfect for her. Great quality product, but the leash ring and the handle are great. We keep her leashed because she likes to jump out. And if she does, I can grab the handle and pick her up easily to help her back in. Great product!

Measurements are true to fit. My pittie loves his life jacket. Got it for our boat but it also floods here a lot so makes me feel better if he's protected if we get a flash flood. It's not too heavy for him and stitching seams good so far. It's easy to put on him.

Our GSD had bone cancer for almost 2 years in her spine, so she was wobbly in her rear legs for most of that time. She lost use of both rear legs 2 months ago and one of her front so it was 'time' unfortunately. The weeks before we had the vet come out to our house, we bought this for her and put it on to give her more stability during her last few swims.We could tell that the jacket gave her more comfort and stability , so she could feel more secure in the pool.After some initial jitters, she could swim again ! She walked around again like it was her domain, grabbed some leaves in the pool, and proceeded to destroy a tennis ball while in the pool. This worked great and the handle on the top of it helped us out getting her in and out of the pool. Thanks for making such a great product and even though we didn't use it for long, it was so much appreciated by everyone in our family in such a tough, painful time - and Bella loved it too !

I purchased 2 of these vests so we could take our large dogs paddleboarding. I measured the dogs and bought the corresponding XL size for both. We always vest the dogs and then use a leash while we finish getting ready. Within the first couple minutes the strap holding the leash ring broke completely off. Our dogs are large, 61 and 70 lbs..the neck strap is a bit too long and doesn't fit well with the velcro. It didn't matter how we tried to velcro them together their was always inches of the strap hanging out. around the torso, straps seemed to fit just fine.With the handle already torn at the front (where the buckle had been sewn in) I was a bit skeptical of how they would hold if we actually had to pull a dog up on a board. While we used these for a few days on the lake, I will continue looking for something better.

Meine 11 jährige Hündin kann nimma so, wie sie will. Haben eine Bootstour gemacht und ihr sicherheitshalber diese Weste bestellt. Sie war damit im Stausee schwimmen, hatte mit der M-Weste mehr als genug Auftrieb. S war ihr zu klein. Sie ist 12 kg schwer und ca 41cm groß, Schultermaß. Die Weste ging gut an und ausziehen und trocknet schnell. Bin begeistert.
